About Me
Hello!
I have a general want to be as of a good person as I can which generally involves keeping empathy front and center.
I'm a musician (mostly the drums), artist (Augmented Reality art in particular), web developer (and by extension a small business owner), meditator, gardener, an avid reader of comic books, cat owner, traveler, and person whose room is slightly overrun by plants.
I'm mostly present as masculine but they/them pronouns are very appreciated. Thank you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been traveling with my band frequently for the past couple of years and while we're on hiatus I still need to move around. So I'm mostly looking for places to stay on my travels.
I've also hosted for couchsurfers before in Brooklyn though this was through a roommates account. While my current places isn't the best for couch surfers I do have a inflatable mattress and a lot of floor space.

I've read everything by Thomas Pynchon. I also read a lot of comic books. Looking toward reading more non-fiction in the near future.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My art, the primary mediums being web apps and Augmented Reality, has shown in many places around the United States as well as in Europe and Australia. Notable institutions and exhibitions include the Whitney Museum in Manhatten, the FACT museum in Liverpool, the Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C., the Flux Festival in Harlem, and Virtual Switzerland at Basel Munsterplats. It's sometimes hard to believe that it's true and it was a huge honor to be part of all the showings that I was.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught classes on coding before and can pass on some basics. I also love to tell stories about things I've see and experienced. I also practice divination with the I Ching and can give readings if asked.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In addition to teaching and divination I can help with whatever's needed during my stay. While I'm not well versed in many recipes I can cook. I can also stay out of you way if you prefer that.
