About Me

-----------------------------------HELLO FRIEND!!-------------------------------------

I invite you to read these few informations before knowing more about me. :)

I'm currently in the midle of a big journey, and I'll be very glad if you could be part of it!

About 3 years ago I started to passe through a very hard (and necessary!) momment in my life, waking up for what is really important in our short passage through this planet.

Last Februrary I start to make a trip around the world, wich will take an year passing through all the continents. In this trip I have met a lot of very special people and I've decided to register everything for, perhaps, someday use it all in a documentary to inspire people all over the world.

If you feel interested in this crazy story and if you would like to participate in somehow, it will be an honor and a plesure to share this experience with you!

CURRENT MISSION

To learn

ABOUT ME

So, it's hard to say something about yourself, mainly because we usually do it with a suspect look, but... In general I think I'm an ordinary guy, who enjoys fair people with open mind and who likes to practice useful actions, that's one of the reasons why I've became a teacher in Brazil seven years ago. Anyway I'm not a teacher anymore, I prefer to be a student.

I believe education is one of the most important things which can change people's lives, but what I used to do working for a private educational system in Brazil is not education at all!
In a country with so many social injustices as Brazil is (as well as many others over the world ) if you realize what keeps all those injustices over the people, you will not agree nor support such educational systems anymore. It has been like that for me.

I just wanna things going right as everyone. I started to understand how all of us are responsible by the environment around us.
When we become aware about some things in life we discover our responsibility to participate in the struggles to make the world a better place to live with all of our brothers.

PHILOSOPHY

“Love is a temple. Love is a higher law”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The CS Project is a very good way to meeting diferent people, to establish human connections, to know new cultures, languages, places arround the world and share all that we have as thoughtful minds.
Sharing experiences with people who can see the world by another angle (inside their homes) it's great.
Making connections, learning how life is great in different ways is my proposal.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've traveled for some countries around the world where I've tried CS and it was a incredible experience in my life. I also had the great pleasure to host some people who showed me the other side. And now I'm doing a journey wich is (so far) the greatest moment of my life traveling for about 25 countries around the world in one year, with so much urgency to see and experience life in all its plenitude.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anyone which makes me feel deeply excited (ex.: Symphony No. 8 - Gustav Mahler)

Books: anyone which contributes to make me more conscious about life (ex.: Siddhartha - Hermann Hess).

Movies: anyone which shows me what I haven't seen before (ex.: Matrix)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To love someone deeply as she loves me.

To know the Amazon Forest in Brazil.

Walking completelly lost at the dark night in the middle of Sahara desert.

To talk to a young indian who now is my friend on facebook.

Be hosted by a friend in a cave in Granda, Spain.

Hang gliding, flying over Rio de Janeiro for 8 minutes.

Camping in a hippie community in Granada, Spain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of Biology: someday if you see any bird standing on the teeth of a crocodile and it seems like a horrible scene for you, wich the bird is almost becoming the crocodile's dinner, please don't worry. Sometimes nature shows us how good things can happen even when the situation seems bad, as the bird getting food from the middle of the crocodile's teeth while the crocodile gets free of parasites from food scraps.

I really would like to learn to play harmonica. Who could teach me?
