About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take it easy for a while. Always remember that everyday is Day One.

ABOUT ME

I am easy going and get along with pretty much everyone. I am an explorer at heart and I have stuck my big toe into over 50 countries and 6 continents. I grew up on Guam, a tropical island in the west Pacific, and moved away when I was 18. I have since live in the UK, China, and Australia.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to experience life, and so far I have found that the best way to do this is to go with the flow and grab with both hands the opportunities that life presents you. I believe in keeping a truly open mind and that everyone you meet has a message for you. I believe in trying to be a good person, morally, inwardly, and outwardly. I believe in understanding that life starts today. Every day is day one. Life is fun, so stay easygoing, don't stress the little things, and appreciate the people around you each day.

In short: Go with the flow, work hard, play hard, chill hard, and try to remember that every day is Day One.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host a bit, I surf a bit, I dig it. I spread the word about CS

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All that I have hosted (20ish?) have been great people and its been a good experience each time with many friendships formed. I love being a part of this concept of a vast network of travelers helping each other out simply because they can. I plan to be doing a great dealing more surfing in the future. I have also surfed a lot in Latin America

Interests

Currently: Language, Rock climbing and beer brewing
Generally: Travel, trying new things, working with my hands, half-baked philosophical conversations with a friend in a pub.
And of course: Hiking/trekking/backpacking, scuba diving, skydiving, sailing, windsurfing, reading, writing, reading newspapers, cycling, hitch-hiking and salsa dancing.

And one of my surfers insisted that I also put: Over 100 hours of hard-seat train time in China in a 12 day period (longest leg was 42 hours nonstop).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to brew amazing beer. (assuming we can get our hands on the ingredients)
