About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spread good will; find the origins of human art; understand a chronology for the practice of yoga
asana; heal that which needs healing; enjoy and have fun because "joy was not meant to be a crumb." ~Mary Oliver

Currently traveling through Sicily💫.

ABOUT ME

I love life! I'm easy going. I like new ideas, people that flow, and places that have been there for a while. I'm always curious to learn new tricks, hear a good story, and get to the bottom of a beer or a lassi with somebody that has something to teach me.

I love everything outdoors.. hiking, camping, beaching, biking, motorcycling, swimming, yoga, kayaking whatever you got🏕

PHILOSOPHY

"Why should I not travel over the fields in search of the wind"

-Epic of Gilgamesh

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Whether I'm able to host somebody or not...if I have time I'm willing to show people around and give tours...this includes free motorcycle rides or bicycle rides around the surrounding area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in 2014 in Germany and Italy. I met some wonderful people, and had some tremendous experiences. I think it's a fabulous way to bring people together. It's a way to cultivate trust in a world where it is becoming a scarce commodity. I love it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam to a deserted island in the Gulf of Thailand with found foam objects tied to my back. Then ran around all day eating coconuts and wild fruits while trying to keep my distance from banana spiders and too much sun.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yoga, archaeology, pranayama, shatkarma, meditation, therapeutic Wat Po Thai massage. Be free!

What I Can Share with Hosts

One thing that I enjoyed while traveling in Viet Nam (besides the amazing kindness of the people and the beauty of the culture and landscape) was the concept of the Easy Riders in Dalat. I've taken this concept and made it my own in my home in the US. Here I give free Easy Rider tours on my motorcycle, and if the weather is right, to the surrounding ponds, beaches, and historic landmarks.

While I am traveling I can offer yoga, Thai massage and lots of stories about travel and archaeology.
