Overview
About Me
I grew up in rural Australia on a cattle/sheep station that's about 46,000 acres and 100km from the nearest town - well that's a lie. theres one about 60km away, but the only thing there is the pub from Crocodile Dundee and a Fuel Station, the population of it is about 10, depending on how many people are traveling through on that particular day. I've spent the majority of my time in Australia between my home in far North Queensland and where I went to boarding school in Brisbane. So far I've done very minimal traveling, only having been to New Zealand with my family and to Peru on a service trip with my school. I defiantly caught the travel bug there, but am enjoying the freedom of being a young backpacker without any commitments or schedule set by the teachers and group I was with through Peru. I'm currently traveling through Europe with my Brother and am hoping to see a lot of the continent within the next 12 months. Love getting off the beaten track and staying away from the crowd. Although I'm a pretty quiet personality most people find me pretty chilled and easy to get along with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on here because I would prefer to be spending time with locals around the world rather than pouring money into hostels. It's really a personal preference and I think most of us are here for the same reason.
Interests
Anything that gets the adrenalin going is always good, whether it's on a Motorbike, taking on slopes on a snowboard, getting dragged behind a boat, or jumping off a cliff, there isn't much I won't have a go at, for me life is all about discovering new limits for myself both physical and mentally probably one of the main reason I'm here right now - to get away from the norms of society and live the way I want my life to be. I do a fair bit of shooting while in Australia and would consider it one of my hobbies. Really enjoy physical activity and sports, Rugby is defiantly on the top of my list. Spent a fair bit of time working with and training horses, a great passion of mine.
Music, Movies, and Books
Pretty much any music except screamo, I seem to go through phases of favourite genres, normally depending on my mood. Currently loving EDM.
So many movies I can't even think of one on the spot, not to fussy really. TV Shows there's a heap as well, but currently into: Peaky Blinders, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Blindspot, Blacklist, Lie to me and the list goes on I suppose there's a few similarities but I'm not overly fussy with that either.
Never really been much of a reader, maybe I just haven't found the right book, but personally I prefer to see things with my eyes, feel them with my hands and listen with my ears.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The tour I did to Peru would have to be the most amazing thing I've done so far. Building a greenhouse for a small school and experiencing the culture there is something that I will never forget!
Teach, Learn, Share
Probably one of the harder questions on here. I guess I've go a fair few life experiences and life skills from growing up on a cattle station in the middle of nowhere and I'm happy to teach them skills to other people and share some of the lessons I've learnt the hard way so others don't have to if they don't want to. I'm happy to learn whatever people are willing to teach me, personally I think if your not leaning something new every day your not living life right.

Happy to cook, clean and help out around the house wherever I can. Would love have a beer in the arvo with a down to earth conversation.
