About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To learn how to produce other sounds than whale laments with my saxophone
ABOUT ME
I'm an easy-going, open minded person. I like travelling, meeting new people, exchanging experiences. I'm doing my PhD in Uppsala, but recently I've moved to Stockholm.
PHILOSOPHY
"[...]no matter what you do, that seed will grow to be a peach tree. You may wish for an apple or an orange, but you will get a peach."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy being a couchsurfer and I have hosted people at my place in Uppsala. Unfortunately I don't have the possibility to host right now =/
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Before joining Couchsurfing I've informally hosted and I've been hosted a couple of times and every time I had a lot of fun. That's why I finally registered. All my experiences with couchsurfers have been great and I've met some really interesting people. Actually the third person that couchsurfed at my place has been my flatmate for 3 years!
Interests
I'm interested in anything I don't know. I'm interested in learning.
I study with great interest old and new Scandinavian languages, Nordic philology and runology. I love travelling and visiting new places. I like hiking, camping, being in contact with the nature, and David Attenborough is my personal hero. I like cooking and eating, and rumors say I'm pretty good at both activities ^^
I'm interested in art and history. I (try to) play the alto sax and the guitar in a student orchestra.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of different kinds of music. I can study while listening to jazz, cook while listening to psychedelic trance, dress while listening to rock, jog while listening to Chopin and go to sleep while listening to black metal. I listen more to single bands and artists than to genres in general, and it goes in waves: a week I can totally dive into one band's music production, and then go on to something completely different the week after.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Uhm... I've eaten icelandic rotten shark. What did you say? It's disgusting and not awesome?? Well...
