About Me
As a free spirit with a passion for travel, my journey took an unexpected turn following the chaotic events in Afghanistan in late 2021. After many years of dedicated work with humanitarian aid agencies, I was evacuated to Germany just months after the fall of Kabul. Since then, I have focused on improving my German language skills and integrating into German society and culture—a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. While I believe I have made significant progress, I know I still have a long way to go.
Recently, I relocated to Bonn due to an exciting new job opportunity. This move has allowed me to further immerse myself in the local culture and community. Reflecting on my extensive journey in the field of humanitarian work, I feel privileged to have traveled widely and connected with some of the most remarkable individuals along the way. Many of these friendships endure to this day and continue to enrich my life.
With limited travel opportunities at present, I am actively seeking to engage with locals through weekly meetings and various cultural exchange initiatives. These interactions not only help me stay connected but also enhance my experience in Germany as I await the chance to travel once more. Embracing this new chapter, I look forward to building new relationships and further integrating into the vibrant community around me.
