ABOUT ME

I am a 26 year graduate student from milwaukee, wisconsin, soon to be living in asheville, North Carolina. I am going to school for social work, which I was drawn to because I am sensitive, a good listener, a natural interviewer, a progressive thinker, and optimist.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe the biggest "fuck you" we can give in this life is to be unimaginably authentic and happy. To never stop believing in G-d, unconditional love, and magic.

Interests

I have read the same livejournals and blogs since I was 12, I love more than anything really getting to know somebody, even if they don't know I exist, apparently! I am interested in public policy and social justice, I read lots of poems and love bright colors and flowers (growing, arranging, drawing). I am currently working in a women's prison, working towards my substance abuse counseling certification.
