I believe that since I will not be able to spend too much time at the cities that I have travelled, I should make it count. I want to experience every places-to-see, events-to-go, food-to-eat etc. And I would always love to have a companion while doing all these. It is more fun and I never refuse to be guided by a local ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because it's the best way of travelling. Meeting locals is a great way of learning more about the cities you're visiting.

Interests

Computer programming, since it's my job. Also it is really fun when you create some stuff and see it works well.
Video games. I'm a gamer. A hardcore one.
Sports, especially basketball and athletism. I used to play basketball semi-professionally and was an athlete. I'm a huge follower of NBA and Euroleague. Also interested in soccer and a huge Fenerbahçe fan.
Abroad trips. Going a place that you know nothing about and discovering the country, the city and the culture is an amazing thing.

Music: mainly death/old school thrash/black metal, grindcore and hardcore punk also Turkish Anatolian Rock
Books: Fantastic literature. Big fan of JRR Tolkien & George RR Martin
Movies: not so selective but prefer mindf*cking movies like Memento, Inception and The Illusionist over others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the last three summers, I go to places that I've never been and discover there by myself. So far these trips include 2 metal music festivals and 1 huge beer festival in Europe as well as an internship and another metal music festival in USA.
