About Me

I am an easy going guy. Open minded and curious about the world, life and how different people choose to live theirs.

Most of the time there is a smile on my face unless you happen to catch me underwater, then I tend to clench it as if that's gonna stop me from drowning ;)

I love my girlfriend and everlasting love Eva. I also love to laugh - like really love to laugh.

Travel, music, books and art, in all its abstract forms, are other passions I try to entertain when I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I have always loved the idea of connecting with people on a human level, by sharing experiences and being unabridged by inhibitions and prejudice. Just people being people. I feel that Couchsurfing is exactly that in its essence.

Interests

Science that deals with the big questions (unified theory of everything etc. ), space exploration.

Sports:
- running, trekking, trek running, anything with a bicycle, yoga, table tennis, squash, some basketball, rafting, hiking.

I used to love to write. I still do, it's just that i don't write anymore. Same with reading and dancing, and mixing music - can't seem to find the time lately.

Hopefully that will change this year.

Me and my girlfriend have embarked on a year long trip around South America.
Its a first backpacking trip for both of us, so we are still learning the ropes so to speak :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books
- mostly sci-fi (but not limited to), exploring the fragile reality we keep our minds in.
Music
- as cliche as this will sound: no genre is a stranger in my headphones, one can find quality music in all its different flavors. Personal favorite that always talks to me is psychedelic trance and all the branches that strain from that name, from Goa to New age and all around.
Drawn Art:
- from street art trough pen doodles on a napkin to St Antony's Temptations. As long as there is an imaginative idea channeled trough the abstract medium of our unconscious creative genius.
Movies:
- lots of them, all kinds. I can watch The Inland Empire one day and The Age Of Ultron the next, just for the darn special effects. I think there are always gems to be found even in the worst of movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not died yet ;)

Eva is a great cook and a baker. She can always make a wonderful meal almost out of nothing.
