I am a doctoral student in English language teaching in Jyväskylä Finland. I came here a bit more than a year ago. I live here with my husband. We're both Iranians, and we love Finland.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interested in many genres of music, including jazz (specially Norwegian), classical, neoclassical, world music, and old Iranian pop. My favorite artists are Arvo Pärt and Anouar Brahem.
In cinema, some of my favorite directors are Bergman, Antonioni, and Haneke.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the dance of northern lights in central Finland has undoubtedly been the most amazing experience I've had in nature.
