Overview
About Me
A somewhat well travelled fellow who loves to be on the go and indulge in random conversations with strangers. I'm a fairly liberal guy and am very interested in learning about people's cultures and experiences. If I was to choose a different vocation and start over, I’d like to travel, explore different cuisines, write a blog and most importantly, get paid for it. Kinda like Anthony Bourdain. Seeing as how that's not working out, I'll settle for the once in a year vacation deal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find that there is nothing more authentic than living and learning from people who are local to a specific country, city or town and getting to see a new place through their own experiences. I value that a lot and that's why i decided to sign up on Couchsurfing.
Interests
Tennis- I used to play semi professional tennis until a few years ago. I play over the weekends now and on every other occasion i can find some time.
Photography- Landscape photography but my major interest at the moment is astrophotography. You can check out some of the pictures I've uploaded with my profile.
Exploring the mountains- Here in Calgary, we have the rocky mountains in our backyard. A hike is a great way to blow off some steam.
Reading- A big reader on abstract topics that rarely get the interest of my friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music-I’ve got a pretty eclectic taste. I’ve got an open mind.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Recently quit my comfortable job and decided to go travel for a year and then go back to school to pursue a new career.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Im hoping to talk and share the varied experiences I have had growing up in a culture far removed from the country I now call home. Given my travels, I can sort of weave together how people in different places might have common traits even though they are geographically separated and speak entirely different languages.
Countries I’ve Visited
Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Gabon, India, Iran, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Uruguay
