About Me
Hey there! I’m Zain, originally from Pakistan but spent 9 amazing years in Malaysia before moving to Canada as a permanent resident. Now, I’m living in Canada and excited to explore this new chapter of my life!
I absolutely love the beach and find joy in sharing what I have and helping out however I can. During my time in Malaysia, I traveled extensively, exploring both cities and villages. I’ve also had memorable trips to Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and India (for a wedding in Punjab). I really miss Malaysia—it’s such a beautiful country with lovely people and amazing food, especially Malay food and Mamak food!
Professionally, I’m an electrician, but I also have a special talent for body massage, which I learned while volunteering in Malaysia. Though I don’t have formal certification, it’s a skill I’m proud of.
I’m an INFP personality type—idealistic, empathetic, and imaginative. I enjoy connecting with people over good food and movie nights, and I’m always open to creating beautiful, lasting memories. Despite being shy, I cherish deep, meaningful interactions.
Music and cooking are passions of mine, and I really love Malaysian food! In 2026, I’m planning a 30-day trip to Malaysia and Indonesia, where I want to learn how to cook Nasi Lemak and Rendang Ayam. I also miss eating Maggi noodles, which I can’t seem to find in Canada.
I’m here on Couchsurfing to build genuine connections and share experiences with people from around the world. While I’m unable to host at the moment, I’d love to hang out, explore, and create wonderful memories together.
I believe life is short, and every moment is worth savoring. Let’s make the most of our time together and enjoy new adventures!
Looking forward to meeting you and sharing some great experiences!
