My name is Zaji, born in Lucena City in the Philippines and grew up just outside of New York City, USA. I would say that I am an outgoing and social individual who really loves indie music, movies and exploring the spaces I visit and inhabit.

I am a film producer studying at Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts and making movies is a passion for me. There's usually an idea in my head and I am always curious as to how others react to it-- which I think is a good reason I enjoy traveling so much... I get to meet so many people with so many perspectives, experiences, adventures...

Being a student makes it very difficult to host, but I am eager to make connections with different cultures and people all the time.

When I travel out of the US, my experiences have been limited to hostels, which is great, but the best part of any trip is talking with the locals and learning about them and how they live.

For anyone visiting Boston or New York, hosting may not be an option but I hope to use CS to connect and meet new people for a cup of coffee or tea, or maybe even a movie or a hike.

Besides traveling, I love cooking (and eating) and find it one of the best ways I learn about different cultures. I also love exploring the places where the locals go when I'm traveling (forget the tourist circuit, etc., etc.) which means finding where the good music is and where people generally hang out.

I love interacting with people over a good cup of coffee or a good local brew or exploring nature with them through hiking, cycling, road-tripping. Either way, there is usually a camera nearby (I am a fan of film and digital photography) but I am very careful with taking pictures, I reserve it for the right shot.
