I love to travel, play sports, make new friends and try things that i never thought i would. Have been to 20+countries now including Australia, NZ, Around Europe,and Asia. My favorite things about traveling are getting to see the differences in cultures, trying new foods, and seeing beautiful scenery.

I am very outgoing and always looking to talk with everyone whether you are in my hostel, the cahier at the store, or just someone walking by in the park. I am always smiling and trying to get everyone i am with to do the same.

I grew up in Detroit, which is a much better city than its reputation shows. I moved away from home when i was 17 to attend university in which i initially studied Kinesiology . I then decided that i wanted to get a business degree and continued my studies in Supply Chain management. After graduating, i moved to Chicago where i spent the next three years.

During my studies, i did a program that sent me Australia for one month and that really sparked the travel bug in me. Since then i started to travel all the time.

As much as i love Chicago, i felt like it lacked many outdoor activities. So I decided that i probably wanted to move elsewhere and figured, why not travel the world first !! So i saved up and departed for this current journey!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently backpacking across Europe and then SE Asia with my GF and have heard wonderful things about couchsurfing. I have been told that you get a much better experience of the cultures and get to see a place more deeply by spending time with locals. We both have been staying in hostels but have met many people along the way the talk about their amazing couchsurfing experiences and we would really like to share in those experiences.

Love most types of music although im probably the worst ever at remembering lyrics. But i will never say no to a karaokee night haha.
