Hi guys, my names Zak, I'm 25 and I have just graduated from Plymouth University (Sep 2015). It's my goal in life to see the world and to me that goes beyond just seeing the sites.

What really makes a place is the people you meet; whether its in a hostel, on a bus...or a couch... haha. I'm a laid back, easy going guy who gets on with everyone, and always looking for adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I've mentioned- the best part about travelling is the people you meet from all walks of life. Even if I had all the money in the world (far from it by the way!) I couldn't ever imagine myself staying in a hotel room alone bored out of my mind trying to get the TV to work- where's the fun in that??

I want to be out and about- go for drinks, go explore, do what the locals do. Et cetera et cetera

Interests

Obviously travelling, I consider myself quite an active guy. Always have an interest in what's going on in the world as well as being a major film buff - and Game of Thrones fanatic- so always plenty to talk about haha

I always want to try the local cuisine- definitely not a fussy eater. I'm learning guitar aannnnndd... oh I love cars. Any chance to ride anything with an engine I'm the first one there!

Graduating? Either that or jumping off the Stratosphere in Las Vegas... depending on your definition of amazing!

* Actually scrap those because as of June 2016 I successfully hitchhiked from Anchorage to Vancouver without being mauled, kidnapped, lost, froze or otherwise incurring loss of life XD
