I am Zala from Slovenia based in Berlin. Currently on a world trip with my fiance Johannes. We are travelling on the path of the 1. female, Ms Alma Karlin, who travelled the world in 1919! You do not know her? Thats why we started this trip to promote this amazing woman, under a project, called Project Alma. Being on a world trip is pretty expensive and couch surfing is a good way to save money for getting to know the country and the people and not to spend it on accommodation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently on a world trip with my fiance Johannes. We like to meet people and meeting and staying at a house of a local is the best way to get to know the country and it keeps the expenses low.
When we settle down again, whether it is in Berlin or in Slovenia, you guys are welcome to stay at our place!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently we hiked on the Volcano Acatenango in Guatemala and observed from our basecamp the nearby active Volcano El Fuego. Nature is just amazing!

What can I share with a host? I would say good stories from our world trip, a good glass of wine, accompanied with a good laugh and a lot of fun. We love to cook, so we are more than happy to cook for our host!
