About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Hitch-hike the world until it dies!
ABOUT ME
I am rather silent, bit of an introvert. I do like to debate and argue, as long as it's done peacefully and without ad personam arguements.
Of course, apart from debating I do not mind beer ( and if you want beer, Poznań is the place to be), literature and hitching.
If you want my story, here it comes: I lived most of my life and grew up on the suburbs of Poznan. I decided to study finnish philology in this town but dropped out after the first term, I guess it just wasn't my thing. I moved out, went to Denmark to study economics there. After finishing my bachelor's I came back to my hometown for a short break from studying and I am happily working for a big corporation with a gargantuous dollar sign on top of it.
PHILOSOPHY
Keep distance to everything you face. Never lose hope and never have high hopes, be stoical, try to get wisdom.
Laugh a lot but never too loud.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I mostly host, surfing occasionally
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I really love both hosting and surfing but I'm always pretty unlucky with my searches. I already hosted approx. 50 people, unfortunatelly it doesn't really pay off when it comes to surfing. Sending loads of requests never really helps. Maybe being a male is not the best idea when it comes to CS.
Surfed in: Stockholm (SE), Oslo , Bergen (NO), Arnis (D), Kyiv (UA), Penrith (UK), Reykjavik, Bifrost, Westman Islands, Keflavik (IS).
Hosted people from: Argentina, Poland, Denmark, France, Italy, Germany, USA, Greece, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Morocco, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Ukraine.
Interests
I'm pretty much interested in everything, maybe music is one of the things I don't really care about, if it's not Cohen, Dylan, old rock or classical.
There are two things I'm fixated about, films and travelling.
When I travel I try to explore the opportunities as much as I can with the lowest budget possible, that means hitch-hiking and staying in the tent. My favourite destinations are the balkans and even though I've been there three times for a month I still think I have no clue about that place. The next destination is Scandinavia for me.
I also like languages but I always give up too early, already tried : english, german, finnish, norwegian, danish. I always try to learn slavic languages empirically.

My music taste is very close. Love oldies and singing poetry.

Generally I prefer new films to the old ones and europeans to americans. Scandinavians, Russians and Czechs are for me by far the best.

Apart of them I try to read every influencial or anyhow important book which is not a bestseller and was written in XXth century.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survived the hospitality of Georgians and Armenians and did not end up as an alcoholic!
