Overview
About Me
I am a third-generation high-school drop out and grew up on the top of a mountain in rural Arizona. In my 20's I was an activist, then I went to grad school and had my hopes and dreams beaten out of me mercilessly by the academy. In the couple of years since then I've been working to rekindle them. I owned a community-based restaurant, and since I closed it have been making my way as an artist, stone carver, and father.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As an artist, I'm on the road going to art shows and hotels can eat up a good part of the money I make from my work. I am on Couchsurfer, primarily, to reduce that expense and meet some friendly people while doing it.
Someday I dream of traveling for the fun of it and crashing on peoples couches with the pure intention of making friends.
Interests
A good book, interesting stones, natural wood, a proper protest, the usual.
