I spent most of my adult life living in Boulder, CO so that I could walk out my front door and hike up into the mountains. I loved hiking regularly and learning the wild edible plants around me. Then I jumped into homesteading and hobby farming in SW Wisconsin and started off raising and milking goats, then added chickens, then switched from goats to milking cows. I learned a lot fast! I love to learn and explore, especially new ways of thinking.

Because I am looking to relocate to the Santa Fe, Taos, Dixon New Mexico area and I would like to connect with locals to learn about the area :) I will have a rental car and be traveling with my 6 year old son.

When I was homesteading in Viroqua, Wisconsin I became quite close with my Amish neighbors and can share a lot about my experience living next door to them. I still own a cow and lots of chickens and I can make raw cultured butter and raw cheeses.
