About Me
I'm a 28 year old Biomedical Engineer and medical student, and after spending my first and only semester abroad, trying to see as many countries and meet as many people as I possibly could, I hope to pass the CS love on! Whether that's when I'm hosting or being the host, I hope to be as great a new friend as other couchsurfers have been to me. Despite limited travel opportunities during med school, I'm still trying to meet as many people as possible and experience as much of the world as I can!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part about traveling is meeting the people who live somewhere and really know the nuances of the location. Making new friends around the world and seeing the secret not-touristy sights is what makes it all worth it for me :)
The people I've met and the conversations I've had with them, solely after being connected through couchsurfing, are some of the best in my life. I feel like CSing shows the best in people, and what's better than people?

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all kinds of music, and honestly what I listen to varies day by day. Movies, I'm partial to Deadpool, anything from A24, and most other movies too, and books... I love the classics. Dante Alighieri, Nicolo Machiavello, etc., and National Geographic magazine. Recently, Homo Deus, Jordan Peterson's 12 Rules for Life, and other self-improvement and educational works are my top, but I have gone DEEP into the Brandon Sanderson Cosmere fantasy universe as well (start with Mistborn and thank me later!)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a cheerleader for my university and was able to sit on the court for the College Basketball National Championships two years in a row. Better than that, I got to check a bucket list item off when I did a backflip on Trolltunga in Norway. Even more better-er was volunteering at a medical clinic in Zambia for a month... I guess I could keep going, but I'd rather hear yours!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about medicine, engineering, and the like, if anyone wants to learn about any of that! Other than that, stories about traveling, other cultures, adventures and sports, literally anything that adds to the experience of being alive! Learning is my passion, and sharing is caring, right?
What I Can Share with Hosts
American culture (such as it is) and a positive, vibrant energy and attitude (and they're welcome to tour their city with me, I'd actually prefer it!)
