I'm a student at UNT doing business integrated studies. My areas of concentration are marketing and entrepreneurship. I hope to own my own businesses and do real estate. I also want to teach abroad.
I'm a member of the Student Government Association at UNT and I represent about 3200 students in administrative decisions and help my fellow senators bring about positive changes to the university from making it a sanctuary campus for refugees to lobbying for public hammocks on campus. :)
I love art, I wish I had more time to paint. I've done music most of my life and developed a passion for reading really early on in life.
I love to travel. I've been to 26 states and 5 countries and I hope to visit more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and travel more. I think that the tourism industry is great for people that want a calculated experience but I want a cultured one. I think people are so so so beautiful and I want the ability to get to know different types of people and different ways of life.
I live in a sorority house or I would open my couch to people and I can't wait to be able to do that next year.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite types of music include folk rock, indie, classical, jazz, and R&B. I love Blood Orange, Weyes Blood, Father John Misty, Midlake, Bill Evans, Sufjan Stevens, and Sharon Van Etton.

I'm also always looking for a new podcast. Some of my favorites include S-Town which is about the events that follow the development of a friendship between a small-town eccentric and a journalist. Serial is also good, I listened to the Adnaan case and was both distraught and fascinated. A podcast I'm currently obsessed with is True Crime Garage. it's a true crime series where two men sit in their garage, drink beer, and speculate on crime.

I love Winona Ryder movies so soso so so much. Heathers is one of my favorite movies of all time. I think it's the original mean girls. I also love finding nemo. It makes me cry lol :/ Moonrise Kingdom is another one of my favorites. It's a Wes Anderson movie about two troubled teenagers in the northeast who run away together and how they try to evade the people looking for them. It's much more than that but I feel like you should just watch it, it's so incredible.

The Humans by Matt Haig is my favorite book. Its an endearing story about a body snatching alien.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being a friend is the most amazing thing i've done. I know that's cheesy but I think that people oftentimes underestimate the value of true friendship.
