Native Oregonian originally from the coast, now doing it up in the big city (Portland is still big for me). Love to travel but have found hosting to be a blast as well, so I'm mostly here trying to help others out.

I work Monday-Friday, 9-5 and I'm almost always gone/busy during the weekends. I'll try to be as good of a host as I can given my busy schedule, but I am often only available to hang out in the evenings. If you don't mind exploring the city on your own by day hit me up!

Between my busy schedule and the high demand I typically just make offers to those who have their trips listed which are when I'm in town. If you still managed to find me and you're in a pinch, give me a shout and I'll see what I can do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done my fair share of traveling and I'm hoping to be able to help out some other travelers. My best vacations have always been when there was someone to show me around and tell me about the places I'm seeing, and I'm hoping I can return the favor to fellow travelers. Also now that my fiancé moved out for school having guests is a great way to force me to keep the place tidy.

Pretty open with all three, especially music. Mostly indie, but some recent favorites that come to mind are Yo La Tengo, Chance the Rapper, Pinback, GSY!BE, Interpol, The Kinks, The Flatliners, Dave Brubeck, The Roots, Wilco, Christine and the Queens, Daft Punk, The National, Rolling Stones, Born Ruffians, M83, Dan Deacon.

Like I said, pretty open, but the favs are Radiohead, Ghostbusters, & Vonnegut.
