I think the best way to regain strength and spirit is to go back to nature. Nature is the start of everything in this world, we have to respect and love nature, because it is the our source of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I have hosted some people and showed them around Riga. Now temporarily I live in Jelgava and I can not host anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled using couchsurfing and I have hosted. My experience was really good both while staying and hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I`m listening to music on mood. Jazz, rock, R&B, Funk, Reggae, Indie, something from electronica and house music.

Movies.
I love biographical movies, good thrillers, very good action movies, also some comedy, documentaries (NG, Investigation Discovery etc.). I`m huge animated movies fan!

Theese are my all time favourites: The Pianist, Seven years in Tibet, Meet Joe Black, An affair to remember (1957), Forrest Gump, Life is beautiful, It`s a wonderfull life (1946), Frida, The Shawshank Redemption, Schindler`s List, The Kings speech, Crash, Inception, Sherlock Holmes, The Help, The Sound of Music.

Books.
I love thrillers, biographies and history books, sometimes some good romantic novel.

These are my favourites: Charlotte Bronte "Jane Eyre", Jean Webster "Daddy-Long-Legs", Astrid Lingren "Pippi Longstocking", Jerome K. Jerome "Three man in a boat", Antoine de Saint-Exupery "The Little Prince", Paulo Coelho "Alchemist", "11 minutes". I also like all books from Harry Potter series. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I`ve driven a quad bike here in Latvia and with machine-amphibian in Andorra- for me that was an adventure. Also I enjoyed riding a camel in the desert of Sahara and I was parasailing in Tunisia.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I`m native Latvian, I can teach not only some words, but sentences. Our language is hard, but beautiful.
In past I have worked in wine shop, it is my passion, I also sometimes host wine tastings, so I can tell You something new about wine.
History is more than my hobby, that`s why I can tell You a lot about our history while walking around Riga.
I`m curious, I like to learn, so if someone can teach me something new, it`s great.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give You a good insight about Latvia, Riga, about our food and maybe show some good spots, that aren’t often in tourist gides.
