About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to out travel my parents, and I'm not doing to bad so far.
ABOUT ME
I'm a smart, sarcastic, philosophical guy. I do however love to travel - a trait I inherited from mother - and have done it a lot. I'm also a foodie; I love food in general and I jump at an opportunity to try something new; which is one reason I love to travel. I probably would have never tried horse flesh, hadn't I gone to Italy.
PHILOSOPHY
If I had a personal philosophy to live by, my life would be much different. I guess I'm more of a short term goal person. It seems like much of my plans haven't been thought out in the long term, but I'm doing pretty well despite it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm looking to help spread what knowledge I have of other countries as well as the beautiful state of Colorado. I hope to do more surfing on my upcoming adventure.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience with CouchSurfing happened when going to Singapore for two weeks alone. I went simply for the food. Since I had no plans but to eat for two weeks, I posted on the CouchSurfing forums to see if anyone could recommend restaurants and places to hang out. That post ended up getting 10 people to meet together. I met a few locals, and some other surfers who were in the area. I ended up spending all of my time with them, and it was the best experience I've ever had abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to Singapore alone, finding the courage to actually talk to a random person in my hostel, and finding out that he was an amazing source to learn from. I'll never forget him taking me to smoke a cigar, and have a glass of whiskey, while we simply talked.
Teach, Learn, Share
I cook and I eat. I'm no Altin Brown or Wolfgang Puck, but I know more than an average person. I'm hoping to travel more and work in kitchens to expand my knowledge. I'm more than happy to share what I know. I can cook for you, or with you. I like showing people what I know in the kitchen, but I try not to be over bearing. There's something to be said about the difference of taking a cooking class, and making food that might not be 4 stars, but the memories are.
