About Me

CURRENT MISSION

a fresh start leaving the mundane 9 to 5 behind

ABOUT ME

my life so far has consisted of life coming at me instead of me coming at life. my new motto is to not settle for what happens to go my way or not. start making those spontanious choices that could change my life forever. such as quiting my job of 4 years this upcoming june, cashing in my 401k "which just happens to be enough money to buy a backpack filled with crackers" sneak onto an international flight to wherever to see and feel life as i have yet to do.

PHILOSOPHY

life comes at you fast get as much out of it before you decide to settle. and when your ready to settle don't, keep moving...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

not through this website but i have recently seen my share of comfy couches and still am. all thanks to my girlfriend of 3 years falling for a coworker and reshaping our living situation... all for the best though, these past two months kick started my life long ambititon to travel and see the world.

Interests

art, music, haphazard adventures, mysterious women, reading in a comfortable chair sipping a wine i cannot prononounce. travel even though i have not yet been abroad. laughing and drinking with friends, endless humor

Music, Movies, and Books

i like non-mainstream music and movies, once large numbers of people take notice i loose interest.
i love the late elliott smith and preston school of industry...
rushmore, pulp indies, most anything with subtitles.
for books i will read almost anything but prefer the classics. hemmingway, j.d., harper lee... i recently enjoyed reading the life of pye and a book that i forgot the title too but was cleverly written from the viewpoint of an autistic boy trying to solve the mysterious slaying of a neighborhood dog.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i was thrown from a jeep owned by couchsurfing member and life long friend stephen eder, landed on face and lived to tell the tale.
