ABOUT ME

Hi,

The perfect description is always very hard to give but I give it a try. I'm a very open minded person and I have strong interest in discovering other cultures and persons around the world. I'd like to have a chat with tea but I can also enjoy and nice party with very good dancing vibes. You can find it both and I find them both very interesting. I'm currently working and during my student and working life, I have lived together with several people, mostly in Belgium and currently in the Lancaster, Pennsylvania area. Most of my housemates told me that I'm a very positive and enthusiastic person. I agree and I hope you will do as well. I'm not the best cook in the world but I enjoy making dinner for more people than only myself. My salads and potato recipes are worthwhile to be checked.

I have green in my mind meaning I ride the bike where I can or I run through the streets while heading for a new adventure. I need to confess that I used a car for a long time but currently I live without and it feels great. I hope to keep it that way. You can please me with chocolate, a chat or a shared lunch (I'd be happy to cook it), I can please you with a nice lindy hop or other partnered dance if you are interested. I like to discover the world and one way to do this is by meeting other and interesting people all over the world. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in Brussels, I could easily host people since I/we lived in a big house. Currently I do not have a (shared) house myself so I cannot host but I can always try to find a host. I look for places where I can surf the couch when I leave on vacation within the US or elsewhere. Of course, once I settle and I find my own spot, I restart the hosting function of my account and you are more than welcome to contact me

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several people in Belgium through my own contacts and the contacts of my housemates. We always tried to share thoughts, to have a dinner, to dance in our living room or to have a beer in one of the surrounding pubs. I think our visits loved it. I surfed some couches within the past years but I stopped for several years and the time is there to take it back up!

Interests

My main interests are sport (biking, running & swimming), dancing (social and solo dance) and meeting other people and listen to their stories and thoughts. I love to speak with people who live the life that I want to live: A life as a dancer or a life with adventures or a life as a celebrated and inspiring professional worker or a green life in many ways. It inspires me and helps me in growing myself.

I performed once on a dance stage and the crowd cheered my name afterwards. I was very rewarding. I loved it.

I can teach you swing/blues/salsa dance. I would love to learn another language, I can teach you Dutch/French/English. I share, I love it!
