ABOUT ME

I've been living in Istanbul for almost 3 years now. I'm loving every second of it (well, most of the time). I hope to explore other parts of the country before I move back to the states. If you'd like to know more, I'd be happy to tell you.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to always live your life to fullest (I know that everyone says this, but if you really try, you will see all the possibilities). Also, just let things go, and not trying to control the things around you that you can't control. And lastly, que sera sera (whatever will be will be).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't really experienced that much of couchsurfing. If you'd like to count staying at my friend's parents' place. Then, yes, I have couchsurfed before. I'd loved staying in a traditional Irish home. It was great staying in Arklow. Also staying at another friend's place in beautiful Dusselfdorf. Loved it there as well! I will go again and again to these places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess one of the amazing things I've done is making the decision to live in Istanbul. It took me about a month to really think it through and to decide if this was something I really wanted. I've never regreted this decision because it has led to so many surprises and adventures along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

most of all i love learning anything and everything from people. i love different cultures and lifestyles. i would love to learn italian and spanish after turkish. i have this thing for mediterranean everything. :) i love the cuisine!! the people, etc. it does help that i'm half mediterranean. well, at least, i think it helps.
