Hallo! I'm Zara. Although I grew up in Zimbabawe and Burkina Faso, I'm actually half English/ half German, and have been living in the UK since I was 14. Currently I live in Chorlton cum Hardy, working as a Research Assistant for the University of Manchester. I daydream about breaking away from this cushty nest all the time. It's so comfortable I feel like I'll probably fall asleep for the rest of my life if I don't make a change soon. So I'm hatching a plan. One of my favourite ways to spend my time is volunteering for FoodCycle, and doing anything related to creating a more sustainable food system. I also love to get lost in a random art project, exploring new places on my bicycle, yoga, running, groovy funky real music.
