Overview
About Me
Basics: I'm easy going and get along with people easily. My idea of fun is pretty laid-back - hang out with some wine, music and conversation. Though I can also (easily) be talked into a night out.
Occupation: Professional student (there's just too much interesting stuff to learn) and music appreciator (but sadly no musical talent - I've tried). Currently studying medical biotechnology.
Life goals: go everywhere, understand as much as possible about how the universe exists to make up for not knowing why it exists (i.e. keep the existential crisis at bay) and own a Venus fly trap.
Spirit animal: Willow and Jaden Smith
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've just completed a semester abroad in the States and am taking a month to travel and explore the west coast before heading home. I don't know anyone on the around here so I'm looking for places to stay and people to meet - Couchsurfing seemed like a great option for both. Plus I figure it would be cool to then have people stay with me when I'm home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a 6 day hike of the Drakensburg when I was 16. We experienced everything from blistering heat to fog so thick you couldn’t see a meter ahead of you to rain to sleet to a 50cm snow in and back to blistering heat. It was SO much fun, ridiculously beautiful and extremely rewarding. I’ve pretty much been chasing that experience ever since.
Teach, Learn, Share
I never pass up the opportunity to travel to a new place, meet new people, learn about others' cultures, get out of my comfort zone and generally go on adventures.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer good conversation or silly banter, depending on the mood.
