CURRENT MISSION

Nicolina and I are currently traveling Europe after a month in Thailand and Cambodia. She is a first time adventurer, having always dreamed of seeing Italy, where her family originated. Since Asia, I personally am on a mission to consume as much cheese as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am Zach and I am now 24 years old, and I come from Ohio, the land of cornfields and chili cheese coneys. I like to think I look at the world a bit differently than the other flatlanders. Keeping the adventure in life is important to me, and I love meeting new people in random situations and looking back to say "How did I get here?" My friends might say I am a bit silly sometimes, and a bit serious at others. I hope that most of them would say they miss me, and that I should stop being a gypsy and come home to see them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I once rode my bike from Montréal to Rimouski, Québec, couchsurfing all along the way, and sharing many wonderful experiences with people from very different walks of life. I also lived at a commune in Montréal where we hosted many couchsurfers.
Later, I couchsurfed in Europe with a friend in Spain, France, Begium and the Netherlands.

Interessi

I love the French language, and all languages in general. I absorb new words pretty fast and I often say that I learn new languages to bug as many people as possible during my time on this planet. There is nothing like the thrill of being somewhere new, especially somewhere with great natural or architectural beauty. I used to be a skateboarder but I fell off the board one too many times, and now I am one of those guys who says "I used to skate."
Recently, I have been operating a farm in Northern California, where I restored the whole farm and raised chickens, quail, goats, horses, ducks, and miniature horses. There, I also practiced organic agriculture and constructed and repaired many features of the farm.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

One of the most beautiful places I have ever been is Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. The rolling hills and rocky cliffs were absolutely beautiful.

Good food, many laughs, stories, hugs, a bottle of wine, some hot sauce, and two dollars and fifty cents.
