Hi all,

I am Zaya. Was born in Almaty, KZ, lived in Zagreb, Croatia last year and now I am working in United States at IT Company.

My biggest passion is to travel and meet people from different countries (yeah, i know not smth surprising :) but this is what connects all couch surfers i guess!).

I volunteered a lot in the past, worked in AIESEC (for 3,5 years), was member of SIFE when I was a student, traveled around Europe, US and Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I didn't use couch surfing often, but I worked in NGO where I met people from different countries every month. I hosted and I was hosted as well, I enjoy meeting new people and learn about new cultures or hear different life stories and adventures.
Now, I am not working in that NGO anymore but couchsurfing is the way to keep meeting new people and share with each other's life experience :)

Interests

I can tell you about my experience living in different countries and travelling. I was volunteering in 7th Winter Asian Game and was part of SIFE team. I also worked in Poland in orphaned center. Life is interesting things and I am sure you haven't met a lot of people from Kazakhstan :)

I love reading books, my favorite one is Gone With the Wind. I love Robin Sharma as a leader training and now I'm reading Alan Lakein "How to get control of your time".
