About Me

I'm an absolute travel lover, and try to go out and see the world as often as I can (well, as my bank adviser allows me to :p)
I was born in Colombia, grew up in the suburbs of Paris and I'm now living in London, which provides plenty of multicultural experiences on a daily basis, it is awesome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I like to meet people who live the cities I'm visiting. I try not to be just another tourist that keeps to themselves, but really have some insight on the city, the country, the culture, the places to go to, and so on.

Also, I am very eager to welcome couchsurfers, but the only thing is it depends a lot on my roommates' schedules, my own schedule and also our other visitors: living in London attracts a lot of our friends abroad!
Feel free to make an inquiry, and I'll tell you whether we can lend you our couch or not :)

Interests

Apart from travelling and meeting people, I enjoy very much listening to and playing music (I'm not too too much of a disaster with a keyboard or a flute, and I do a bit of singing too).
I also enjoy reading a lot, going to the movies, having a nice, cold mojito or dance until dawn (well, actually, that was when I was 20, now it's more like until 3 AM :p).

Music, Movies, and Books

Soundtracks (especially by Alexandre Desplat, Hans Zimmer and Thomas Newman), baroque music, any pieces by Mozart (really, I vow him a cult), but also old and new rock'n'roll, Björk (almost every single song), Manu Chao, so many artists... I'm gonna stop there.

Books, I'd go for Harry Potter (yep, still a kid). Jane Austen, all of her books. And then any good thriller or detective story (Agatha Christie being THE master of crime, and also the French author Fred Vargas), and historical novels as well (especially if they have to do with British history).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I don't know if it's amazing amazing, but it was for me: driving through the Death Valley, windows down, music on... I know it's a big cliche, but we were the only ones on the road, the surroundings were dead-silent, it felt amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach to cook very easy French dishes!
I'd like to learn German and Italian.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge of the French culture, which I really like :)
