About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find purpose.

ABOUT ME

People paint a picture of who they want themselves to be and how they want to be perceived. It's self creation, I love it, but I've also found that our self evaluation is not always completely accurate. With that said, my self painting contains art, adventure, learning, philosophy, high places to jump off of, and overall exploration of this life.

I've lived a fairly big life for my age and I'm currently traveling the world trying to figure out how to use my passions in a resourceful way. I've realized that being self aware is hard because I'm aware of my limits, of my loneliness, of my many thoughts never to be be heard or felt by others. To be human is to be an island seeking an ocean.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never had a bad couchsurfing experience. I love this community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed giant red beautiful rocks in the U.S. deserts. I've scaled bamboo scaffolding to the highest point of an ancient Buddhist temple overlooking Myanmar on Halloween night. I once climbed down from a night climb in Tonsai, Thailand to take a swim in the ocean and be dazzled by bio luminescent plankton. I've waded through shoulder deep flood waters in Laos, danced backstage at concerts in New York, hot air ballooned Turkey, and I've ran naked on a vacant part of the Great Wall of China. But the most amazing thing I've done in my life is to take it into my own hands. I've faced despair, death, and divorce and didn't let them beat me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good story about my exodus from a cult and clean dishes. I enjoy doing dishes.
