Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because its a great way to meet new people, get to know more about their customs and cultures, discover local places and simply have fun!

Interests

Traveling is definitely something I’m interested in. If possible, I try to avoid travelling in a conventional way because I believe that the touristy side of travelling is boring and doesn't help you to grow as a person. The most exciting places I have visited so far are Tokyo, New York and Svalbard (a Norwegian archipelago in the Arctic Ocean). Besides travelling I'm interested in photography and skateboarding. I'm also all about food and trying different cuisines. I try stay up-to-date with the current events, especially connected with humanitarian problems, international conflicts and women rights.

Music, Movies, and Books

Type of music which I listen to depends on my mood. I don't limit myself to one specific genre. Bands which I adore are: the Knife, Lykke Li, Placebo, Skunk Anansie, Joy Division, RHCP, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, The Gossip and actually many others, but there's no need to mention them all here ;)When it goes to movies I absolutely hate horrors - mini heart attacks and those kinds of things... ;D I prefer documentaries, biographies, short-animations, comedies and psychological movies. Some of my favourites movies are: "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mins", "A Beutiful Mind", "Sam", "Edward Scissorhands" and the rest of Burton's movies ; I also love Tarantino!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the back-pack journey to Holland with my friend. My first experience of that type, therefore unforgettable! :)
