About Me

CURRENT MISSION

have a nice Christmas with my family

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back, painfully sarcastic guy. Graduated and now working for the NHS.

I'm into philosophy, sports, chatting, dancing badly, taking the piss out of myself, trying to make people laugh, pain aux raisins and films.

PHILOSOPHY

Work hard, have fun, try and make people around me laugh, be fair, tell it how it is, make my mum proud.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a really interesting experience visitng Oman and then hosting a friend I made over there when he came over to Edinburgh for the festival.

I also spread the word to my mates.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In June 08 I went o Oman for my first couchsurfing experience and then hosted a friend I met there back in Edinburgh.

I also stayed with an Uzbeki family for a month a while ago, which was very cool. They lived in a Soviet style block of little flats and were really good to me.

Interests

Sports - footy, rugby, squash (not so hot at squash). Interfaith dialogue. Philosophy. Film.

Music, Movies, and Books

Latest film I enjoyed was "Stranger Than Fiction". Also like Into the Wild. Presently reading (very slowly) "The Magus" by John Fowles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the three peaks challenge with a few mates last year which was a good laugh - we managed it with 4 minutes to spare! (You've got to go up and down the highest peak in England, Scotland and Wales plus driving time within 24hours).

Teach, Learn, Share

'red' looks different to everyone. I reckon everything is different for everyone, even though we can all interact with the same thing, we'll have quite different experiences - that's what makes hanging out with people fun.

Countries I’ve Visited

Jordan, Morocco, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
