About Me

Who says life has to be: study, get a good job, get married, go into debt for a house and a car, have kids, take 15 days of vacation per year and work hard just to call that a “good life”?
Yeah… not really my style 😄

Describing myself is tricky, but I’ll try: I’m pretty laid-back, with a strong “inner child” energy.
At first I might seem shy… but give me 20 minutes and you’ll probably wish I stayed quiet

I’m friendly, easy-going and open-minded. Also curious… and professionally lazy.
My mood depends on how I wake up — if it’s the wrong side of the bed, just give me coffee and space

I’m basically a walking contradiction:
– I live on the coast, love the beach… but don’t like fish
– I love adventures… but I’m often too lazy to start them
– I enjoy the outdoors… but somehow end up indoors
– I LOVE traveling… but hate packing and leaving — and once I go, I don’t want to come back

I’ve seen thousands of profiles here where people say they’re amazing cooks.
I’m not. At all.
But I am extremely talented at eating — so if you cook, we already make a great team

I’m a typical Dalmatian — our motto is:
“Don’t do today what you can do tomorrow.”
(Still following it very seriously.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really enjoy meeting new people and making new friendships — especially the kind where you start as strangers and end up laughing like you’ve known each other for years.

For me, Couchsurfing is not just about a place to stay, it’s about connection. I love the idea of sharing stories, cultures, random thoughts, and maybe a beer (or two) while talking about life, travel, and everything in between. It’s one of the best ways to see a place through local eyes — much better than just following Google Maps all day.

It also fits perfectly with my personality. Since I’m curious, this is a great way to learn new things without opening a book. I like hearing how other people live, what motivates them, what their everyday life looks like — and of course, sharing mine too.

I’m definitely not here for a free stay. If I just want silence, sun, and the sea, I’ll book an Airbnb without thinking twice.
Here, I’m looking for something more real — meeting locals when I travel, or hosting people who come to my country and showing them a bit of my world.

I enjoy simple things: good conversations, spontaneous plans (once I overcome my laziness), exploring new places, or just chilling and doing nothing — very Dalmatian style.

So if you’re open-minded, relaxed, and don’t mind a bit of humor and randomness, we’ll probably get along just fine 😄
