Getting to know the world a bit better... I have traveled across Europe quite a bit but there are still many countries left...

ABOUT ME

I was born in Prague in 1987. Since then I've traveled quite a bit (almost 30 countries), especially across Europe. Some years ago I've started to study at MGIMO (Moscow State Institute of International Relations), which extended my horizon and virtually made Russian my second native language. I've also created multiple successful online projects such as php-powered image hosting service with as much 80 000 visitors. Some years ago I've even worked as a 'python' programmer for Stream.cz - Czech YouTube alike.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem (Seize the Day) but think about the future at the same time... I am trying not to create very strict rules for myself, I am against self-censorship in my thoughts. However I wouldn't call myself an opportunist.

Many friends told me it's a great thing to try. To me the biggest benefit is a language practice and cultural exchange.

Programming, debating, learning new facts about the world order, especially in terms of international relations and political situation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Sophie Ellis Bextor and other lovely female vocals, I like 80's in general as well as D'n'B

Movies/TV Shows: I love Yes, Minister, IT Crowd, Red Dwarf and other britcoms. I've created Czech subtitles for some episodes of Lost the TV show which I also liked, as well as Heroes. My favorite old school TV Show is Columbo.

Speaking of books I like science-fiction such as Jules Verne, Stanislaw Lem and Isaac Asimov novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent 2 years in North Korea during my childhood. I have also traveled alone from Prague to Moscow through Poland, Lithuania and Latvia (2500km = 1500 miles) in my car. I've also created an image hosting service with as much as 80 000 visitors a day.
