Studing my Master's and travel the Europe!

ABOUT ME

Currently I am on a journey of my life. I study my Master's degree in Transcultural European Outdoor Studies and since September 2012 I live and study in Lake District in the UK. In January 2013 me and all my classmates from all over the world are moving to Oslo, Norway for one semester and than to Marburg in Germany. I study and travel in the same time!

I am a Czech guy who loves travelling to any destinations, explore new places and meet up new people. I love hiking with backpack into the mountains, feel the freedom of the wilderness, paddle down rivers on a canoe or kayak, in winter skiing in any of its form. Traveling is my passion and my dream is to travel around the world one day.
I am also freak about adventure racing (trekking, MTB, canoing/kayaking, climbing, rollerblading...).
I've spent one year studying in Norway, it was the best experience of my life so far.
I am looking forward to explore the world through CS and also host couch surfers in my home country. So far, I didn't have a opportunity to host any couchusrfers, because in past few years I'm living in student dorms, where the space is very limited a it wouldn't be comfortable for you :(

PHILOSOPHY

I believe dreams comes true, but we just have to follow them and not be a part of a grey crowd!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have only one, but super great couchsurfing experience from Katowice in Poland, I was hosted by Tomasz and I can really recommend him as a best host in all Katowice :)

Interests

Outdoor sports - climbing, hiking in the mountains, MTB, running, skiing, telemarking, orienteering, adventure races... Besides all sports I love traveling and meeting people! But the best is to connect sport and traveling together!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love many different genres of music. Depends on mood, but important are good speakers to enjoy all its aspects! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling into wild places, probably being on Svalbard- the island in the Arctic Ocean with more polar bears than inhabitants :)

Four days dog sledding through arctic tundra in northern Norway and Sweden. Absolutely extraodinary¨and special experience, recommend to anyone!
