About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To save the world....no seriously!
ABOUT ME
I am a friendly and approachable person who finds a lot of pleasure in meeting new people and listening to their stories. I take a lot of time to consider the needs of others and in finding out as much as possible what our world is all about.
I love my music, especially seeing it live, and socialising with people, whether it be friends or strangers.
I hate doing these things but I promise you that once you've met me I am a nice man at heart : )
PHILOSOPHY
I am an open-minded individual who is respecting of all views and will listen to what people have to say. I have my own views on things but am not one that likes to preach and think my opinion is the dominant one. I like to enjoy life as much as possible but am maybe a bit too sensible for my own good sometimes : )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had two previous CS experiences, firstly in Paris with a friend and then in Ancona, Italy. I loved both occasions and I was overwhelmed by the generosity my hosts gave, even more so by the evening's entertainment. Also, great cooking!
Interests
Ummm, I love music, listening to the radio, reading books, football, swimming, cycling and my new favourite sport, kayacking!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm currently reading the biography of Ida Wells at them moment, an inspirational person. I also really enjoy George Orwell and Ariel Dorfman. I like these texts as well:
To Kill a Mocking Bird
Down and Out in Paris and London
Day of the Triffids
Billy Bragg's 'Progressive Patriot'
Leonora Rustamova's 'Don't Read This'
Music wise I like a bit of everything, you cannot criticise anything without trying it but prefer stuff by Deftones, No Doubt, Tiger Army, Bedouin Soundclash, Rancid, Tool, Ben Harper, Ozomatli and the list goes on forever!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I saw two rainbows, one on top of the other! Two big pots of gold, lucky folks!
