About Me

ABOUT ME
Wow, 10 years of couchsurfing!
*Here's my original "about me" written in 2009:*
• I want to know a lot of languages, become a film director, and get rich so I can host lots of couchsurfers
• I want to become a really good translator and a really good graphic designer.
• I love it when you think you've felt all the feelings that there are to feel and then you travel somewhere new and you feel different.

*Updated about me in 2019:*
• I now have a house and can host lots of couch surfers!
• I know three languages and can count to ten in half a dozen others.
• I didn't become a film director, but I got a grant in 2011 to produce my senior film.
• As far as I know, I still haven't felt all the feelings...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted one official couchsurfer on my boat (before I had a house), and several unofficial.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
On a bike trip across the south of France in 2010 I stayed at 6 different couchsurfs.
I biked from Seattle to San Francisco in 2013 and met a ton more awesome people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I ran a half marathon after partying all night and then I ate champagne and mm's for lunch.

That's not really amazing.

More recently, I ran a 50 mile ultramarathon with a 9,000ft elevation climb and drank a fourloko at mile 17. I got lost and ran four extra miles, but I finished the race.
