Overview
About Me
Since young, i was fortunate to be able to travel at least once a year until i outgrew the child ticket. I was always curious about the unknown names that I saw on the airport panels. Another place, another name, another WORLD.
I want to experience culture shock! To feel and to take in the difference. That is what makes traveling to the unknown fun, ain't it?
Getting to know people around the world and hear their stories. Not every one is blessed to be able to travel to many different places but thru new friends we can all learn a bit more on other places and gain invaluable new perspectives in life.
PHILOSOPHY
Keep it real.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am fortunate enough to couchsurf and made friends with a number of people. And from them i got a peek of the each place from a local's perspective.
Unfortunately I don' have a place of my own, so I can't host for the time being.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It is always a little bit intimidating going up to a stranger and go "Hey! can I stay at your place or a night or two?"
Fortunately for me, i met some very nice people who welcomed me and spent some great time together.
The greatest joy i got from CS are the meet ups and chill that happens after the initial surf, despite us being in different countries and stuff.
Interests
Basketball, Football(both the round and oblong kind).
I am having a harder time finding anime/manga that holds my attention maybe due to my old age but there are still gems that i am completely absorbed into.
- culture
- anime
- traveling
- basketball
- soccer
Music, Movies, and Books
I don't really read much.... i think the last series i completed is Harry Potter....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending a night in an evacuation center as access into the small town that i was in were sealed by landslides brought about by typhoon in Japan
Went traveling across japan for 3 months -> Circled Taiwan in 1 month -> relaxed in HK for another month. Was so tired by the end of the entire trip but i had so many people and had so much fun.
