HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like multiculturalism! I was born in İstanbul. I also lived in İzmir. Then, my family moved to Canada where I lived in 6 different cities. Being a Turkish-Canadian is awesome. I can play real "football" and enjoy pancakes with real maple syrup:) I learned so much about other cultures while living in Canada, the most multicultural country. It opened my eyes to the world!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Visiting/experiencing new countries/cultures is amazing.
(especially trying their food)

I love traveling, meeting people and taking it easy.
So, whether I host or surf, either way couchsurfing is great!

Life is great when there's a beach, concert, festival or a camp involved. Or even just some beer and a game on TV. When it comes to sports, I love biking, tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball and snorkel diving.

I took tango lessons. Tango is the best dance!

-> I am very open minded about music and try to get an understanding of many genres (pop, ethnic, blues) but usually I enjoy rock. Anything from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin, from Pink Floyd to Deep Purple, from the Doors to Alice Cooper, from Iron Maiden to Guns N Roses, from Scorpions to Accept and Thin Lizzy, Rainbow, ACDC, Queen, Twisted Sister, Mr. Big ... and the list goes on and on... you get the idea :)

Books: Maksim Gorky is my favourite author.
