ABOUT ME

I’m a talkative and social person and love sharing fresh ideas and stories. I watch comedies on telly a lot and also love to make people laugh. I'm cursed with empathy and easily feel for others. I love cute things, even if they are machines. :) I wouldn’t hurt a fly but I’m still ready to stand for the weak if I see any injustice.

I lived in Finland for 8 years, in London for 3, then an year in Sweden and moved to Berlin an year ago.

I love traveling and thanks to the nature of my job, I do get many chances of visiting many different places. Been to most European countries many times, US (east and west coast) and Canada. South America is on top of my todo list. Unfortunately there aren't many conferences happening there so I'll need to fund my own trip there. :)

I used to do yoga, power yoga to be exact quite a lot but lately I've been a bit lazy on that. I recently tried bouldering and I loved it so I think I'm going to do more of that. I've a private pilot license for helicopters. These days I'm working on getting a private pilot license for planes too.

I must admit that I'm a bit of a geek: I just love technology. I'm very passionate about Free (as in freedom, not free beer) software and try my best to always write Free software. A bit related to that, I like sci-fi a lot, especially Star Trek and Stargate (no, no freaking Star Wars).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted many people 2 years ago when I was in London and was living alone. I'm once again living alone now so I thought I should make life more interesting again. :) I met many cool people during the time I hosted and made many friends. I'm hoping the experience will be the same again.
