Resumen
Sobre mí
If it's affordable, I believe anyone and everyone who is able, should travel. It's the best, most invaluable way to spend one's time and money. My first travel experiences were 1-month stays in Kosovo for two years, where I worked with children from marginalized communities in after school programs. I was immersed in the Balkan culture, history, cuisine, and lifestyle. It's been the most refreshing and mind-opening experience I've ever partaken in, and it's inspired me to travel and see as much of the world as I can.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
While the scenery may be breathtaking and the food delectable, it's obviously the people we meet along the way that engrave the deepest memories in our minds. I feel that couchsurfing is the best way to meet both locals within the country and newcomers/travelers, where we can share stories and experiences together. It also seems a lot more fun than staying in a lonely hotel room, but also more comfortable and engaging than rooming with a dozen other travelers in a hostel dorm!
Intereses
Honestly, talk to me about anything for long enough and I'll probably find something to say about it too! From music, to science, and everything in-between. I'll admit I do have love for science-y things above all. Astronomy, psychology, and neuroscience (my university major!) are some examples. I also play the piano, guitar, and am learning to sing professionally (a bit of Italian opera).

Música, películas y libros
Pretty open-minded here. Although I lean closer to the indie/classical music genre than popular/hip-hop stuff. My favourite band is Arcade Fire and I am big fan of Chopin!
Algo increíble que he hecho
I study bats! How echolocation works in the bat brain.
I've climbed to the peak of Mount Etna Volcano, without a guide or any equipment (in retrospect, a stupidly dangerous decision)
In Kosovo, I worked through a volunteer organization, helping children from minority groups in after school programs. It was such an amazing experience, I did it twice! (second time, co-leading the trip)
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Got a piano or guitar lying around, and I could probably play a couple tunes with my (somewhat) rusty skills. Got an hour to spare, and I don't mind chatting over tea, coffee, drinks, or lunch about your life, my life, and places we've been to!
