I am currently living and working in Jakarta, but I also frequently go to Bali or Bandung just for an escape. I am also in a mission to conquer the whole Indonesia!

So if you are happen to be in Jakarta especially, I can show you: (i) good nightlife/bar/clubs (you can party up to 5AM in Jakarta, I know some places); (ii) museums hopping, with free bus for tourist! (not many knows this, and I gotta check actually whether this is still available); (iii) beautiful beaches in Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu), North Jakarta (do not underestimate the beaches here!! still pretty!!); (iv) trekking to one of the surrounding mountains e.g Pangrango Mountain, Puncak, etc.; (v) thrifting in Pasar Senen; (vi) walk or jog around the area or to Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) sport stadium.

Otherwise, if you are only transiting in Jakarta to other city, also let me know perhaps I could offer some insight or even join!
