I'm a twenty-three year old American with a passion for music, travel, and environmentalism. I used to love following politics but now it kind of makes me sick as he-who-shall-not-be-named is kind of hard to avoid...
Anyway, I quit my job as an environmental consultant in December and decided to come to New Zealand on a working holiday visa. I am currently traveling the South Island and looking for places to stay, people to meet, and things to do. I'm fun, easy-going, and always looking for a laugh.

I love reading; my favorite author is Cormac McCarthy and I am currently reading Infinite Jest, and have been for a while...
I'm a big fan of movies as well and am always down to watch any Hitchcock, Tarantino, or Wes Anderson, however I'll quote Wedding Crashers at you all day.
