Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of being able to connect with locals while traveling. I never surfed via cs but when I was traveling, my favorite parts were talking, having dinner or strolling etc. with locals or other travelers I've met. I've not been on cs for long but I am aware of the fact that cs community has shifted from the main purpose of this site, towards the opportunity of cheap accommodation. While I'm not oppose to the idea of you having a cheaper trip, I like to do stuff with my guest or host. So if your main goal here is spending least amount of money as possible, (Turkey is a relatively cheap country. Especially if you are coming from European countries. But still...) I may not be the most suitable host for you.

Interests

I play drums. So I'm into music. Also I've been practicing aikido and I like chatting on martial arts. Other topics I find amusing are sociology, psychology, religions... Actually I love to discuss on or just listen to any topic which has the potential of being a good brain teaser.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Like I stated above, I’m rather new on cs myself as a host. But I’ve been living with my sister for 5 years and thanks to her and her guests I know what I want from a guest, and what a guest needs from a host. I'm an easy-going, kind, grew up in a small town kind a dude. By this, I mean my guests will feel at their home here. I generally am as comfortable as my guest or host is. Just one thing though. I don't smoke cigarettes. Well... I don't use anything actually. But can't stand the smoke and it's a deal breaker for me. You should take this into consideration when being my guest or offering me a couch.
