About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To boldly go where I've never gone before...and to be thankful for all that I have, everyday.
ABOUT ME
I never really know how best to answer these questions, but I'll give it a go...
I'm short with really small feet, and small hands with chubby fingers. Sort of Hobbit-like, but more proportionally human.
My teeth are kind of big when I smile.
I love jeans and sneakers.
I'm not a fan of heels, but will wear them once in a while to disguise my hobbit-like stature.
My main focus in college was literature and writing, yet I am often guilty of gross misuse of the comma.
I'm a dreamer. I'm an adventurer. I'm a realist and a discerning optimist.
I'm interested in doing and learning everything, which may make for an interesting life, but unfortunately not a very stable one.
I find people fascinating and unique, and often love to sit somewhere alone and just watch and listen. But I'm happiest in the company of good friends and good people.
I consider myself pretty open and friendly with new acquaintances, but I'm also cautious and so I cultivate close friendships over time.
I've met a few people in my life that are super awesome and that I felt a connection with right away. The kind of people you know you were meant to meet in life, and I absolutely love running into those kindred souls from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
- Life is too short to not do the things you love, no matter how old you are or where you are in life.
- Don't let the past weigh you down.
- Stand up, fight, and defend what you think is right, but also be willing to accept your mistakes and apologize for them.
- Live a life of acceptance and love. I believe in second chances but if someone hurts or disappoints you too often, just move on. Keep moving forward and never look back. They aren't worth it.
- Every day is full of opportunities and gifts, both big and small.
"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better."
--Samuel Beckett
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to be as involved in the community as I can. Most of my friends in Seoul are ones that I've made through couchsurfing and I attend many of the events. Not sure what's it's like in other cities, but the CS community in Seoul is pretty great.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've met some of my closest friends through CS activities in Seoul. Couchsurfers are amazing!...for the most part :)
