ABOUT ME

My best friends call me Lizzie. They might say- I'm funny, smart, curious, a great "Dog" mother, good listener, very energetic, sometimes I talk too fast, always thinking of new ideas, love photography, like making money. My best friend sent me a card once, I still have it. It says: "You are unrepeatable. There is a magic about you that is all your own." Inner strength, can do anything I set my mind to, often procrastinate, tendency to talk when I'm nervous, love walking and seeing new things and being in nature, love all animals, generous, kind, sometimes too strong willed, loves to learn.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I've already indicated that in my interests. We need to take care of our planet, be responsible for all flora and fauna and show love to each other. Love and kindness. Silence is grace.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend Bear couch surfs and says it's great. Everyone I have talked to has been receptive and willing.

Interests

Taking pictures, having coffee with friends, walking my dog, bird watching, contributing to causes with my time, talking to elder people, older than myself- listening to their stories. Playing with dogs, riding horses, seeing animals interact with each other, reading, being in the sunshine, sailing-being on water, being silent, taking short naps, lying down to rest my back, being kind to others especially waitresses, bank tellers, I like to give a little more of my time to people I only meet briefly; being alone, doing art collages, cutting up my photos and creating something new. Seeing the seasons change.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first sunset on Maui, just sitting there and having that be the experience with nothing added.
My first time coming to California from New York City when I was a teenager- I remember being amazed at the hugeness and brightness of the sky.
Being with my sister when she died- she smiled broadly as she passed.
